At The Nags Head we are proud to serve a fine selection of continental lagers, ciders and local traditional ales.

The range of traditional bitters we serve include John Smiths Cask Bitter from nearby Tadcaster and a range of bitters from the local York Brewery.

Our wide range of home-cooked bar meals are freshly prepared and served daily, lunch and evening.  

 

Our Carvery speaks for itself. Served from our Conservatory Restaurant, diners can decide to eat in the Conservatory Restaurant or in our lounge bar. The sample menu gives you a flavour for the wide choice of meals we have available.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our ever popular Carvery is served every Sunday, 11.45am - 4pm.  Click here for carvery details.The bar menu has a vast selection available throughout the day and all made to order, especially our hand-cut, twice fried chips - just like chips should be!

 We try to source our produce from local suppliers, where possible.  

Bar meals are served Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 12pm - 2.30pm and 5.30pm - 9pm. Prices range from £2.95 - £9.75.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our beer garden is a perfect sun trap for those wanting a long lazy lunch or just a quick drink.

The Nags Heads boasts two bars -  a warm and friendly lounge bar and a sports bar complete with pool table and large screen TV - perfect for watching the football with friends.
